As an academic research organization at the Keio University School of Medicine, the Center for Clinical Research (Keio CCR) is focused on supporting clinical research projects and activities at Keio and elsewhere that meet global standards and contribute to the welfare of people across the globe.

We specialize in implementing high-quality clinical trials, large-scale observational studies, translational studies of new technologies and other biomedical research by providing experts’ support to achieve their goals, e.g. research planning, biostatistical consultation and data management.

Keio CCR also serves as a core of clinical research networks that require efficient and reliable operation by the staffs well versed in the field. To fulfill this task, we closely collaborate not only with the researchers of Keio University and the physicians at the Keio University Hospital but also with extramural doctors, scientists, companies and sponsors worldwide.

With strong ties to the Keio University Hospital, one of the largest and the busiest hospitals in Japan, and the Keio University School of Medicine, which have extensive research and educational resources, Keio CCR maximizes clinical research opportunities in Japan for both domestic and international parties.
